Taxolia.ro uses few cookies. The strictly necessary ones work without consent; audience statistics (Google Analytics, Ahrefs Web Analytics) and campaign measurement (Meta Pixel) load only if you accept them. This page sets out exactly what gets stored in your browser and why.
1. Cookies and local storage
A cookie is a small text file a website saves in your browser and can read back on later visits. Local storage (localStorage) works in a similar way, except the information stays in the browser and is not sent to the server with every request.
The law treats both the same way. Storing or reading information on a user device requires consent, unless it is strictly necessary to provide the service the user asked for.

That is the complete list. Apart from the language preference above, the site itself writes nothing to your device: we use no other local storage of our own, and the fonts are served from our own server, so no requests go to external services when a page is simply displayed.
3. Strictly necessary items
The first four items in the table above are strictly necessary. Without them we cannot render pages correctly, remember your banner preference, protect the contact form from automated submissions, or open the pages in the language you chose. Under Article 4(5)(b) of Romanian Law no. 506/2004, this category does not require prior consent, but it does require that we inform you, which is what this page does.
The consent banner is provided by CookieYes, a consent management platform certified by Google. The cookieyes-consent cookie exists solely to remember what you chose; it holds no identifying data and is not used for advertising.
Cloudflare Turnstile is an alternative to classic CAPTCHA systems. It reads technical signals from the browser to tell a human from a bot, does not ask you to solve puzzles, and does not build an advertising profile from your behaviour.
4. What we use with your consent, and what we do not use
If you accept the “Statistics” category, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful and where visitors come from. We have configured it without Google Signals and without identifying you. Until you press “Accept”, signals to Google are set to “denied” through Google Consent Mode. In that state, Google may receive only anonymous, cookieless signals used for statistical modelling. The _ga cookies are written only after you consent.
With the same “Statistics” consent we load Ahrefs Web Analytics, provided by Ahrefs Pte. Ltd., to see which pages are read and which searches bring visitors to the site. It sets no cookies and uses no local storage, which is why it does not appear in the table above. It does read technical data from the browser (the page, the source of the visit, the device type), so we start it only after you consent.
If you accept the “Marketing” category, we load the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, to measure the results of our Facebook and Instagram campaigns — for example, how many quote requests they bring — and, where applicable, to show our ads to people who have visited the site. The Meta script is not downloaded at all before that consent, and if you withdraw it we stop sending events to Meta. We send only page views, the submission of a quote request (with the service selected) and clicks on WhatsApp, phone or email — not your name, email address or the content of your message.
We do not use Google Tag Manager, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, heat maps or session recording. We do not sell or share browsing data with data brokers.
If we add measurement of our Google Ads campaigns, it will load only with consent for the “Marketing” category. The table above will be updated and the revision date at the top of the page will change.
5. The banner and changing your mind
On your first visit we show a short banner. Your choice is saved in cookieyes-consent, inside your own browser, and does not reach us as a personal identifier.
You can change that choice at any time, without contacting us: every page carries a “Cookie settings” link in the footer, which reopens the banner so you can change or withdraw consent. Clearing the site data for taxolia.ro in your browser settings has the same effect.
6. Browser controls
Every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies, normally through the privacy section of its settings. Blocking strictly necessary items has consequences: the banner will reappear on every page, and the contact form may refuse to submit because the anti-spam check cannot complete.
Many browsers also offer a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. Since we run no tracking technologies, these settings make no difference to how our site behaves.
7. External services you open from the site
The WhatsApp button is a link to wa.me. It loads no script on our pages and stores nothing in your browser. If you tap it, you are taken into the WhatsApp app or its web version, where the policies of that provider apply.
The same holds for the links to our Facebook and LinkedIn pages and for the link to uitdesk.ro. Any cookies there belong to those sites and are governed by their own policies.
8. Legal framework
This policy follows Romanian Law no. 506/2004 on the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Romanian Law no. 190/2018.
Where information stored through cookies amounts to personal data, its processing is described in our privacy policy, and your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection can be exercised at office@taxolia.ro. You may also lodge a complaint with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP), dataprotection.ro.
